The All Assam Students’ Union and 28 other organisations have decided to launch a Satyagraha across the state from tomorrow protesting against the proposed Citizenship (Amendment) Bill.
The AASU and the other organisations sent out a stern warning to the Assam government stating that the bill cannot be passed in the North East. The AASU said the protest will continue until the government decides to do away with the bill.
