Mizoram: NGOCC appeals LSC holders inside Assam Rifles occupied areas to surrender certificates

The NGOCC had earlier made the appeal, following which eight persons out of 50 with LSCs or house passes inside the Assam Rifles camp in Aizawl surrendered their land documents.

Mizoram’s NGO Coordination Committee, a conglomerate of major civil societies and student associations, has reiterated its appeal to the people with land settlement certificates and house site passes inside the Assam Rifles Camp in Aizawl to surrender to the state government.

The NGOCC had earlier made the appeal, following which eight persons out of 50 with LSCs or house passes inside the Assam Rifles camp in Aizawl surrendered their land documents.

They also urged the state government to cancel the LSCs and house passes of those who refuse to surrender and asked the government to utilize the land solely for public purposes once the Assam Rifles vacate the camp.
