The NDPP and BJP will hold a crucial meeting at 5 pm today at Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio’s official residence to discuss whether or not to go for an opposition-less government. Sources from the BJP informed that a final decision on the matter will be taken by the party high command. As per sources, Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton and state BJP president Temjen Imna Along will leave for Delhi after the assembly session ends later this month to further discuss the issue with the party high command.
