PM Modi added, "Everyone is saying that Meghalaya Maange BJP Sarkaar (Meghalaya Demands BJP Government)."

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that the BJP has flourished in Meghalaya and exuded confidence about his party’s perfect show in the ensuing elections.

PM Modi who was accorded a warm welcome in Shillong by a sea of people, said,”In entire Meghalaya, I can only notice BJP and BJP. Whether it is hills or plains, village or town, the lotus is blooming.”

Without naming anyone, PM Modi launched a scathing attack on the Congress, after workers of the grand old party had chanted slogans against him after the arrest of Pawan Khera.

In this context, Prime Minister Modi said, “I have witnessed that some people whom the nation has rejected, whom the nation does not want to accept now, who have plunged into disappointment, they are saying that Modi Teri Kabar Khudegi.”

In his further response to this, PM Modi said, “But the nation is saying that the Modi Tera Kamal Khilega, Modi Tera Kamal Khilega. The people of the nation will give a befitting response to these people with an absurd mentality and their statements. This response will be visible in Meghalaya and Nagaland.”

PM Modi added, “Everyone is saying that Meghalaya Maange BJP Sarkaar (Meghalaya Demands BJP Government).”

He added, “There is a reason behind the sentiments expressed towards the BJP in Meghalaya and the entire Northeast. For a long time, Meghalaya and the entire region was used by some people for the sake of Family Politics and Selfish motives. Do You want this Family Politics to go or not? Should Meghalaya get out of Family Politics or not? These people have made entire Meghalaya like an ATM by siphoning of funds (meant for people).”

The Prime Minister addressing the mega rally in the heart of Shillong said, “The interests of Meghalaya were never given priority. Meghalaya today wants people first government instead of family first government. Today, the lotus flower has become a symbol of Meghalaya’s strength, peace and stability.”
