Expressing concern on the reported qualification of Chakma & Hajong candidates in NERIST Entrance Exam, 2018 under Mizoram seats, the All Arunchal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU) has strongly opposed the results and demanded immediate cancellation of their selection & admissions in NERIST.

In this connection, a team of AAPSU visited NERIST premises on Wednesday and apprised the Director of the recent results of NEE-2018. The AAPSU stated that a number of Chakma & Hajongs were found to be qualified under Mizoram seats in the recent NERIST entrance results.

Demanding immediate cancellation of their Chakma-Hajongs selection in NERIST, AAPSU demanded that the eligible tribal applicants belonging to Mizoram must be replaced instead of the Chakma-Hajongs.
