Laxman Prasad Acharya was sworn-in as the governor of Sikkim on 16th February at the Sikkim Raj Bhawan
The newly appointed Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim Laxman Prasad Acharya was accorded a warm welcome today at the Raj Bhawan by the newly elected members of the Central Executive Council, Citizen Action Party-Sikkim along with the Chief Coordinator of the party.
Laxman Prasad Acharya was sworn in as the 17th governor of Sikkim on 16th February at the Sikkim Raj Bhawan.
Chief Justice of Sikkim High Court Biswanath Somadder in the presence of Chief Minister Prem Singh Golay along with other cabinet ministers administered the oath of office to Laxman Prasad Acharya.
The delegation of the Citizen Action Party-Sikkim congratulated and extended best wishes and regards to the Hon’ble Governor on behalf of the Sikkimese people.
Meanwhile, during the interaction with the delegation, the Hon’ble Governor assured to work in the interest of the Sikkimese people and fulfill his responsibility to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of India.
He also mentioned that the growth and progress of Sikkim shall ultimately help in the overall growth and progress of the nation and appealed to the members to work in the interest of the Sikkimese people.
