Smashing box office records, the Shah Rukh Khan led film has reportedly raked in around Rs 100 crore worldwide on just its first day.
Pathaan worldwide box office collection day 1: Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan is breaking box office records left and right just one day after its release! Looks like fans all across the globe had been eager to see Bollywood’s Badshah return to the big screen after four long years. Nearing the Rs 100 crore mark on its opening day at the worldwide box office, the film is off to an excellent start, reported Times Now.

Smashing box office records, the Shah Rukh Khan led film has reportedly raked in around Rs 100 crore worldwide on just its first day. The film debuted at number one in the UAE and Singapore as well. Aside from that, Pathaan reportedly managed to cross $1 Million in the USA by Wednesday afternoon itself, said Times Now report.
“#Pathaan takes a whopping ₹ 100 Crs+ gross opening at the WW Box office.. No.1 debut in UAE and Singapore,” tweeted trade analyst Ramesh Bala.
Meanwhile, out of the total Rs 100 crore, Pathaan is said to have minted more than Rs 50 crore at the Indian box office.
About Pathaan
Directed by Siddharth Anand, the spy action film follows the story of an exiled RAW field operative, played by Shah Rukh Khan, who is assigned to take down a private terrorist organization that is planning a nuclear attack on India. The film also stars Deepika Padukone as an ISI agent and John Abraham as a former rogue RAW agent planning a nuclear attack on India.

Having finally released on January 25, the movie is the fourth installment in the YRF Spy Universe that includes Hrithik Roshan starrer War, Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai. Following Pathaan, Tiger 3 and War II are scheduled to hit the big screens. Both the films are currently under development.
