Manipur Government distributes schemes to beneficiaries

As many as 174 beneficiaries of different government schemes in Manipur’s Churachandpur District received their schemes on Friday, during the monthly Meeyamgi Numit and Hill Leaders’ Day, organised by the District Administration at YPA Hall in Hiangtam Lamka.
The benefits include the CMHT card, different certificates by the revenue department, trade licences by the ADCC, old-age and widow pension cards, and soil health cards by the agriculture department, among others.
Some of the services were handed over directly to the beneficiaries by the Deputy Commissioner, Sharath Chandra Arroju.
Besides, a total of 36 grievances were received, of which 13 were resolved on the spot.
The Deputy Commissioner of Churachandpur, Shri Sharath Chandra Arroju, also personally met and heard the grievances of individuals, community leaders, and groups.
On Friday, approximately 42 district-level officers and their staff attended the event.
In another similar distribution programme in Churachandpur’s Thangzam, Mimi Khaute, wife of Churachandpur MLA LM Khaute, handed out 10 chief minister’s widow pension schemes and 39 MOAPS cards to old and informed senior citizens of the district.
One of the beneficiaries, Robinson, expressed his gratitude to the government for extending the schemes and benefits to deserving people like him. He also urged the deserving people to avail themselves of government benefits in the days to come.
