Assam down town University organises its 15th Lamp Lighting and Oath-taking Ceremony

138 nursing students enrolled in the Faculty of Nursing's undergraduate and diploma courses have sworn to practise professional nursing

The Assam down town University (AdtU) today organised the 15th Lamp Lighting and Oath-taking Ceremony of the Faculty of Nursing and the 12th Lamp Lighting Ceremony of Sankar Madhab School of Nursing.

The ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp by dignitaries- Professor Dr. N. C. Talukdar, Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Pranveer Singh, and the Special Guest of the Program Pro Vice-Chancellor and Professor Dr. Hemeswari Bhuyan.

138 nursing students enrolled in the Faculty of Nursing’s undergraduate and diploma courses have sworn to practise professional nursing.

The prominent guests gave the faculty and students a variety of academic and extracurricular prizes for the session 2021–2022, as well as awards for the annual sports meet in 2023.

Professor Dr. Manashi Sengupta, Dean, Faculty of Nursing (AdtU) gave the annual report for the College and School of Nursing for the Session 2021–2022.

Sujana Yambem, an assistant professor in the Faculty of Nursing department at the University gave the vote of thanks.

The programme ended with a short cultural event hosted by Nursing students.
