On New Year, 3 including 2 brothers die in separate road accidents in Assam

The brothers died when their bike collided with a vehicle in Bokakan
A family in Golaghat, Assam, had a tragic start to the New Year as they lost their two sons in a road accident in Bokajan on the first day of the New Year.
The deceased were Pranjit Bora and Jit Bora, residents of 2 no. Lakhibari at Jamuguri area in Golaghat district.
The accident took place when the motorcycle the two brothers were riding collided head-on with a Bolero.
The two brothers who were on their way home in Golaghat from their workplace in Bokajan lost their lives on the spot.
On the other hand, one more person was killed and another person was injured in a separate accident at Solengi Guri village in Gohpur Subdivision of Sonitpur district late last night.
The deceased has been identified as Rabin Munda.
The injured person, Sunil Orang of Silmulguri in Gohpur was rushed to the Gahpur Civil Hospital where he is receiving treatment.
As per sources, the two were travelling from Gahpur to Lakhimpur on a bike when it hit a pole by the roadside.
