Manipur Boy Songashim Rungsung is 2nd Runner-up in 2022 Mister Friendship International championship

Ukhrul (Manipur) boy, Rubaru Mr India, Songashim Rungsung has once again made his state and the country proud. Songashim has been judged the 2nd Runner-up at the just concluded 2022 Mister Friendship International championship in Thailand.
Songashim who represented India at the championship, was considered as one of the strongest among the 17 contenders.
Standing tall at 5’11 feet, the 25 year old Songashim is a social media influencer, fitness consultant and model. He started his career in the glamour industry in 2018 when he competed in the Mega Northeast and made it to the top 10 finalists.
Belonging to the Tangkhul community from Talui village in the Ukhrul district of Manipur, Songashim is the first candidate from Manipur to win India’s biggest men’s pageant – Rubaru Mr India. A Master’s in social work, he is a strong proponent of toxic-free healthy lifestyle and has been actively involved in creating awareness on the sensitive issue of substance abuse.
Songashim was honoured with the ‘Influencer of the Year’ award at Goa’s biggest and most prestigious special awards night organised by AB Production Goa group of pageants.
He also ran a campaign to rid Indian roads of potholes and make them safer for motorists.
