Sikkim CM inaugurates Akhil Kirat Rai Sangh’s head office

Sikkim Chief Minister, Prem Singh Tamang today inaugurated the Rai Khim, Head Office of the Sikkim’s Akhil Kirat Rai Sangh at Lumsey in Gangtok.
While inaugurating the office, CM Tamang conveyed his best wishes to the organization for their future endeavours and hoped that the infrastructure would help in promoting and preserving Rai culture and traditions.
Speaking to Northeast Live, Political Secretary to Chief Minister and Rai leader, Jacob Khaling said that the plot of land for the Rai Khim was donated by the Government of Sikkim. Khaling also stated that the office houses a Guest house that charges reasonable amount and a restaurant. Khaling on behalf of the Rai community also expressed gratitude to the CM for donating the plot of land.
