PM Modi Inaugurates Arunachal's Donyi Polo Airport
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Donyi Polo Airport, a move that would give a big boost to the connectivity of the frontier state of Arunachal Pradesh and the region.

Built at a cost of Rs 646 crore, the airport has a capacity to accommodate 300 passengers during peak hours and handle B-737 and A – 320 type aircrafts.

The airport is equipped with ILS and CAT-I approach lighting system for all weather operations.
Initially, low-cost carriers IndiGo and FlyBig will operate flights from Hollongi.
IndiGo will begin service on November 28th, with flights to Kolkata and Mumbai every day except Wednesday.
