Earthquake jolts Assam, Arunachal Pradesh

Earthquake: Tremors felt across Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and other parts of Northeast. Location of epicentre near India, China border

A 5.6 magnitude earthquake rattled Assam, Arunachal Pradesh as well as other parts of Northeast at 10:30 AM.

The epicenter has been located near Along in Arunachal Pradesh along the Indo-China border.

Tremors of the quake was felt in most parts of Assam, particularly in upper Assam districts.
