Arunachal: AAPSU, ANSU calls off 12 hr-bandh

The All Arunachal Pradesh Students Union & the All Nyishi Students Union withdrew their bandh in protest against the APPSC paper leak case .
Happy with the role played by the Arunachal Pradesh government, 2 apex students bodies in the state have called off their proposed 12-hour shutdown of the capital.
The All Arunachal Pradesh Students Union and the All Nyishi Students Union withdrew their bandh in protest against the paper leak case of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) and other related issues, that was scheduled to happen on November 2.
Both the students bodies took this decision in a crucial meeting chaired by Chief Minister Pema Khandu.

Both the students bodies informed about their decision, in a press briefing late Monday evening, stating that “most of the demands are being considered by the Pema Khandu government.”
ANSU president Nabam Dodum said that the unions will send a recommendation to the government, seeking age relaxation to allow candidates up to 40 years of age to appear for the examination.
However, the students bodies also pressed for stern action against all those who are found guilty by the CBI in the paper leak case.
