NIT by Assam Rifles for Kohima students

In a noble initiative by Assam Rifles, 20 students from Kohima will get the chance to learn & experience key aspects to achieve their goals.
20 students from 4 different schools in Kohima are on a 10-day educational tour across the nation to gain more knowledge and exposure into diverse aspects.
The National Integration Tour is being conducted by the Kohima Battalion of the Assam Rifles. The tour was flagged off by Brigadier Herjinder Singh, Commander 5 Sector Assam Rifles.
During his address, Brig Herjinder Singh highlighted that the project was conceived by Director General Assam Rifles, Lt Gen P C Nair, AVSM, YSM. The tour is being executed under the supervision of Maj Gen Vikas Lakhera, SM, IG AR (North).
Brig. Singh urged the participants to make optimum utilization of this opportunity and learn from this unique experience.
In this 10 days educational tour of, the Students & Teachers will be taken to Indian Military Academy (IMA) Dehradun, Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC)Dehradun, Forest Research Institute (FRI), Dehradun, National War Memorial, New Delhi and various other places of interest and repute.
A total 20 Students and 4 Teachers from Christ King Higher Secondary School, Modern Higher Secondary School, Little Flower Higher Secondary School and Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, all from Kohima are participating in this tour.
