Tripura: Pradyot backs 10323 terminated teachers

Tripura Royal Scion has openly backed the 10323 terminated teachers. Pradyot Kishore Debbarma he will continue to fight for the people.

TIPRA MOTHA Chief Pradyot Kishore Debbarma has reiterated his support to the 10323 terminated teachers of Tripura.

The Tripura Royal scion taking to social media informed that he along with representatives of the teachers met Kapil Sibal, Congress leader and a senior lawyer to fight for the case in the Supreme Court.

Pradyot Kishore Debbarma said that he will bear every legal expense for this purpose and maintained that there is no political agenda behind it. The TIPRA MOTHA chief added that funds meant for TTAADC will not be used in this pupose. Debbarma said he is firm in his committment to stand by the 10323 terminated teachers.

As many as 10,323 school teachers were terminated following a faulty recruitment process according to an order of the Tripura High Court in 2014.

All these teachers were appointed in different phases since 2010.

The Supreme Court upheld the High Court order in 2017 after hearing Special Leave Petitions (SLP) filed by the former Left Front government and the sacked teachers.
