Two days after the city police arrested the principal and the teacher of Don Bosco Chandrapur on charge of abusing school boarders, Northeast Live has got hold of the copy of the FIR filed by the parents that reveals shocking details.
The parents have alleged that the principal of the school father Sebastian Matthew and Brother Athiko Issac, the hostel warden, used to force the students to serve them alcohol failing which they used to be tortured mentally and physically.
What is more, the parents of Class VI student at the school told NEL that a masked man almost guided their child to hang himself in the hostel premises but was luckily rescued by a fellow student. This when no outsider is allowed to enter the hostel premises.
The matter comes after Guwahati city police arrested the Principal and the teacher of Don Bosco Chandrapur on charges of beating students and making them clean toilets. While the Principal, Father Mathew has been admitted at the MMC Hospital following some complaints, the teacher, Brother Athiko Esac, who is the incharge of the boy’s hostel has been sent to 14 days judicial custody.
Top city police sources told Northeast Live that the duo has been arrested under the juvenile justice act and the case has been registered at the Pragjyotishpur Police Station.
The school authorities had earlier asserted that the allegations against the Principal and the teacher of the school are baseless.
