The Assam Congress is all set to announce the name of its candidate for Rajya Sabha elections. The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee has already forwarded a list of 5 candidates to the party high command in New Delhi.

In this regard, a key meeting was held between APCC President Bhupen Bora, leader of opposition Debabrata Saikia, Rockybul Hussain and other senior congress leaders.

Meanwhile, Bora has exuded confidence that Congress will seal victory in the Rajya Sabha elections.
