The Central Leadership of All Arunachal Pradesh Students Union held a meeting with the respective district units to discuss the offspring issue of the state.
Speaking to reporters, after the meeting, AAPSU President Hawa Bagang said that they will go for a democratic movement with the respective AAPSU district units of the state if their demands are not heard.
Meanwhile, AAPSU General Secretary Tobom Dai said that they are disappointed to know that the State Government has rejected their issue to table a bill on the issue in the upcoming Assembly session.

The AAPSU General Secretary, further stating that they feel backstabbed after conducting several meetings at the high level with the Government said that they will sit for democratic movement if the issue is not resolved at the earliest.
Notably, the All Arunachal Pradesh Students Union or AAPSU has been raising the demand for a permanent resolution to the offspring issue of an offspring born to a Scheduled Tribe or ST woman from Arunachal Pradesh and a non-tribal man enjoying ST benefits in the state.
