The Tripura Teachers Eligibility Test qualified candidates have appealed to the State government to take initiative at the earliest for recruitment of all TET qualified teachers at once by increasing the number of vacant posts.

Addressing a press conference, Biswajit Ghosh of All Tripura TET Pass Candidate Group 2021, said that at present there are around 3,600 TET qualified teachers but the State government is going to recruit around 2,622 teachers and in that case, many deserving candidates will be deprived of getting government jobs.

He further added that although there are around 14,000 vacant posts the govt is reluctant to recruit eligible teachers.

The members of the All Tripura TET Pass Candidate Group 2021 has also demanded expediting the recruitment process as many of the qualified candidates may be deprived of getting government job for being overage.
