As far as any kind of border dispute with China is concerned, Union law and justice minister Kiren Rijiju today affirmed that the territory and people of Arunachal Pradesh are in a safe position.

Besides, Rijiju termed the non-demarcation of the border is a historical problem which is very sensitive. The union minister said this in response to a query about Tapor Pullam, who, as claimed by family members, was involved in PLA’s activities after he went missing in 2015.

Kiren Rijiju said that the matter would be taken at the appropriate level. However, Rijiju said that since the boundary is not demarcated, people from both sides often cross the Macmohan Line, which is considered the international boundary between both countries.
