The Guwahati-Alipur Duar Jn Intercity express train number 15754/15753 to resume service from November 17, 2021.

The Northeast Frontier Railway has decided to resume the train service to fulfil the demand of passengers and to make it easier for local short-distance travellers on the route to travel.

It may be mentioned that the train service was halted due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Intercity express (unreserved) runs from Guwahati to Alipur Duar Junction, 7 days of the week.

The 15753 (Alipurduar  Jn – Guwahati Express) will depart from Alipurduar Jn  at 04-05 hrs and will arrive at Guwahati at 11:20 hrs.

Meanwhile, train number 15754 (Guwahati – Alipurduar Express) will depart from Guwahati at 12-40 hrs and will arrive at Alipur Duar Jn at 21-00 hrs.

The train takes 7 hours and 50 minutes to complete its route and caters passengers of Fakiragram Jn, Salakati, Kokrajhar, Basugaon, Dangtol, New Bongaigaon, Bongaigaon, Chaprakata, Bijni, Patiladaha, Sorbhog, Barpeta Road, Guagachha, Sorupeta, Pathsala, Niz-Sariha Halt, Tihu, Kaithalkutchi, Nalbari, Ghograpar, Rangiya Jn, Kendukana, Baihata, Changsari, Agthori and Kamakhya stations during its journey both ways.
