Classes for 10th standard in Assam are all set to resume from September 20, informed State Education Minister Ranoj Pegu on Thursday after the cabinet meeting.
Addressing mediapersons, Pegu said that the classes for 10th standard will resume from Monday, wherein 30 students in each class will be allowed. He further appealed to school authorities to ensure proper sanitation of the classes and school premises.
The education minister, meanwhile, also urged upon other students, whose classes are yet to resume. Pegu said that classes will begin in phased manner.
This comes as a big development so far as the resumption of classes are concerned. The classes have been halted ever since the outbreak of COVID-19.
