Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment Pratima Bhoumik on Monday said that she would work as a bridge between the centre and the state of Tripura.
Bhoumik also lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for keeping Tripura and the entire northeast as priority.
The Union Minister arrived in Tripura today after 40 days of her induction into the Union Ministry. She got a rousing welcome at the Agartala airport by BJP party workers.
On reaching the BJP office, the union minister was welcomed by state BJP president Dr Manik Saha.
Meanwhile, Bhoumik is also slated to visit Guwahati on August 23 and 24.
