The United Liberation Front of Asom—ULFA (Independent) has released two abducted employees of New Delhi-headquartered Quippo Oil and Gas Infrastructure Limited.
The banned outfit released Pranab Kumar Gogoi and Ram Kumar, the abducted staffers of the private oil firm.
Pranab Kumar Gogoi, drilling superintendent and Ram Kumar, a radio operator with the oil company were abducted on December 21 from the company’s Kumchaikha hydrocarbon drilling site in Arunachal Pradesh’s Changlang district.
While Pranab Gogoi hails from Sivasagar district of Assam, Ram Kumar is from Bihar.
According to reports, the two employees of the private oil farm are currently in Arunachal Pradesh. They are likely to reach Assam very soon.
