Manipur Hills and Tribal Affairs Minister Vungzagin Valte inspected the proposed site of the newly sanctioned project, the Hills medical college at Churachandpur on Sunday.

Valte inspected the proposed approached road and other related issues of the project. He was accompanied by Additional chief secretary, Additional Chief Engineer, Engineers, Architects, health Director, Deputy Commissioner Churachandpur, SP Churachandpur among others.

Almost 25 acres of land have been arranged for the medical college and the budget is estimated at Rs 325 crores, out of which 50 percent have already been sanctioned.
