Arunachal reports 10 more COVID-19 cases; tally reaches 158

Ten more cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Arunachal Pradesh on Tuesday, taking the state’s coronavirus count to 158. Of the fresh cases, 9 were reported from Itanagar Capital
Ten more cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Arunachal Pradesh on Tuesday, taking the state’s coronavirus count to 158.
Of the fresh cases, 9 were reported from Itanagar Capital Region and one from Tawang.
All positive patients had recently returned from other states. Among the 9 confirmed cases from Itanagar Capital Region, 2 each have returned from Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal and one each from Jammu & Kashmir, Bihar, Maharastra, Assam, Manipur. All cases are asymptomatic.
While the patient from Tawang, who is a returnee from Delhi is co-morbid with chronic kidney disease and has been shifted to Covid Care Centre.
Meanwhile, 16 patients have been discharged after recovery. They tested negative in two consecutive tests as per SOP and have been advised strict 14-days home quarantine
The state now has 120 active cases, while 38 persons have recovered from the disease so far.
