The death toll in India related to COVID-19 continues to rise as Kerala recorded its first death from the dreaded virus. The death has been reported from a hospital in Kochi where a 69 year old man has reportedly died.

As many as 20 persons have died so far due to the novel coronavirus pandemic in India.

The total number of positive coronavirus cases across the country now stands at 873 out of which 73 have reportedly recovered so far.

Kerala’s Kasaragod hurtled towards a health crisis as 34 new cases have been reported from the district. Kerala has become the first state to report COVID-19 from each district.

Delhi, meanwhile, reported one fresh case, taking the total number of cases to 40.

Bhilwara in Rajasthan, another coronavirus hotspot, confirmed its second death in two days.
