Curfew has been clamped again on Saturday in areas falling under the Sadar and Lumdinjiri police stations in Meghalaya capital Shillong.

Though curfew was lifted in Shillong this morning, prohibitory orders were imposed again after a person was stabbed at the heart of Shillong city in the Bara Bazar area a short while back.

According to preliminary reports coming in miscreants attacked the victim and fled from the scene.

Meanwhile, it has been learnt that the victim has been admitted to the Shillong civil hospital in Barik.

Reportedly, another case of assault has also taken place. However, the incident is still yet to be confirmed.
