Putting an end to all speculations, the NDFB said that it would contest the Bodoland Territorial Council elections.

Talking to newspersons, NDFB-S general secretary BR Ferenga said that the NDFB will fight the polls independently.

However, Ferenga maintained that the NDFB has an open door policy and will join hands with like-minded parties.

The NDFB-S leader strongly indicated that there will be a big transformation in the political landscape of BTC after February 24.

Meanwhile, NDFB(S) Chief B Saoraigwra also confirmed that the NDFB will come into active politics.
