Mizoram is celebrating its 33rd Statehood Day today, on the occasion a function was organised at the Vanapa Hall in Aizawl.

The function was attended by Governor PS Sreedharan Pilai and State Chief Minister Zoramthanga.

Mizoram was granted Statehood on February 20, 1987 following the signing of the Mizo Peace Accord in 1986 between the MNF and the Government of India.
