Star sprinter Hima Das has made everybody proud again as she cleared the Assam Higher Secondary final examination (Arts stream) with flying colours.

Hima, who had appeared in the HS examination from Dhing College, secured a total of 349 out of 500 marks with an aggregate of 69.8%, scoring 63 in English, 84 in Assamese, 60 in Advanced Assamese, 75 in Political Science, 67 in Education and 46 in Geography.

Despite being engaged in training for Olympics 2020, Hima has managed to secure first division with a letter marks in Assamese.

A total of 2,42,843 candidates had appeared for the HS final exams this year – 1,86,187 in Arts, 37,455 in Science and 18,291 in Commerce stream.
