Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to address another mega rally in Assam this election season. The Prime Minister will visit Silchar on April 11 to drum up support for BJP candidate Rajdeep Roy.
What is more significant is the fact that the Prime Minister’s visit to Silchar coincides with the first phase of polls on April 11 in different parts of the country including the Northeast.
It may be mentioned that prior to the Prime Minister’s visit, NEDA convenor and BJP top gun Himanta Biswa Sarma held a meeting with state minister Parimal Suklabaidya, Lok Sabha candidate Rajdeep Roy and BJP workers to take stock of the preparations ahead of PM Modi’s visit.
