Assam: Cong finalises candidates for 4 Lok Sabha seats

The Congress on Friday released the names of party candidates for the four remaining Lok Sabha seats of Guwahati, Dhubri, Barpeta and Kokrajhar.

The Central Election committee of the party in New Delhi earlier in the day came up with the names of Bobeeta Sharma from Gauhati, Abu Taher Bepari from Dhubri, Abdul Khaleq from Barpeta and Sabda Rabha from Kokrajhar.

The Congress list comes almost a week after BJP had announced its candidates for most of the Lok Sabha seats including the crucial Guwahati seat.
