Veteran politician RB Subba joined the ruling Sikkim Democratic Front on Wednesday along with his supporters.

Hamro Sikkim Working president and adviser KN Uprety also joined the SDF along with Subba.

Subba who had quit the ruling party to form the Hamro Sikkim Party rejoined the SDF. He quit Hamro Sikkim citing lack of democracy within the Bhaichung Bhutia-led party.

Subba had also slammed Hamro Sikkim Party for allegedly lacking clarity on the Limboo Tamang reservation issue. Subba’s joining has come as a massive boost to the Pawan Chamling led SDF.
