Body of Sikkim Youth Missing Since Jan 5, Found

The deceased, identified as Prajal Pradhan, went missing after attending the ‘YAA Festival' in Sikkim’s Soreng district.

The body of a 28-year-old youth who had been missing since last Sunday was recovered from Singtamtar Tharpu in West Sikkim.

The deceased, identified as Prajal Pradhan, went missing after attending the ‘YAA Festival’ in Sikkim’s Soreng district. Concerns were raised after Pradhan failed to return home after the event and a search operation was launched.

His body was discovered near the event venue today.

Initial reports suggest that Pradhan’s death was caused because of a fall from a cliff near the festival venue.

The police have launched an investigation into the incident, and further details are awaited.
