After the sensational online trading fraud in Assam, now another scam has come to fore from Guwahati. As per inputs, an NGO called ‘Merit Education Society’ has been accused of defrauding people to the tune of 10 crore. The so-called NGO allegedly scammed unsuspecting people on the pretext of including them in various government schemes. Money was looted in the name of schemes of government departments like Animal Husbandry, Fishery Department etc.
