Eminent film director, screenwriter K Vijayendra Prasad who is known for some of the highest-grossing Indian films of all time has expressed his eagerness to make a film on great Ahom general Lachit Borphukan. This, he conveyed to Union Minister of State for External Affairs Pabitra Margherita during a conversation at the latter’s residence. Known for his work on Oscar winning film RRR and other big hits like Baahubali, Vijayendra Prasad has also debuted as a novelist with former naval commander Kulpreet Yadav-titled Brahmaputra-The Ahom Son Rises.
