BSF Apprehends 6 Bangladeshi Nationals in Two Separate Operations in Tripura

The individuals, residents of Kamalbazar in Sylhet division, were detained as part of a heightened security operation.
Continuing the crackdown on border infiltration in Tripura, Border security forces have apprehended as many as six illegal immigrants.
BSF troops from the Murtichera Border Outpost (BOP) apprehended three Bangladeshi nationals attempting to infiltrate Bangladesh.
The individuals, residents of Kamalbazar in Sylhet division, were detained as part of a heightened security operation.
In a separate operation in North Tripura, BSF troops apprehended three more Bangladeshi nationals, including a male, a female, and a child.
In addition to thwarting infiltration attempts, BSF personnel have successfully foiled multiple smuggling operations, seizing contraband valued at Rs 10 lakh.
During one operation, a Bangladeshi smuggler was injured by a pellet from a non-lethal BSF fire. Maintaining heightened vigilance, the BSF continues to curb infiltration and cross-border crime with a focus on non-lethal strategies to ensure border security.
