The National Testing Agency (NTA) may release the results of the CSIR-UGC-NET June 2024 examinations today.
This announcement comes as nearly 9 lakh students await their results after the examination held from August 21 to September 4, 2024.
The Human Resource Development Group (HRDG), a division of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), oversees various programs including fellowships, research grants, and the CSIR NET examinations. They had previously indicated that the results would be made public today.
On October 13, the NTA released the final answer key for the UGC-NET, after the provisional answer keys were issued earlier.
According to reports, a total of 2,25,335 candidates registered for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET 2024 examination, out of whom 1,63,529 appeared for the examination.
The UGC-NET covers 83 subjects, including languages like Hindi, English, and Tamil, as well as specialized fields such as Library and Information Science and Mass Communication and Journalism.
The exam aims to determine the eligibility of candidates for positions as ‘Assistant Professors’ and for the ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ roles in Indian universities and colleges.
Conducted in a Computer Based Test (CBT) mode, the UGC-NET serves as a vital step for aspiring educators and researchers across the country. Candidates can stay tuned for the results, which will be crucial for their academic and professional futures.
