Arunachal’s Jang Football Turf Earns FIFA Certification

CM Pema Khandu expressed his pride in the achievement, calling it a testament to the state’s commitment to the growth of football.
The football turf at the Outdoor Stadium in Jang, Tawang district, has achieved a significant milestone after being officially certified under the “FIFA Quality Programme for Football Turf – FIFA Quality” standard by FIFA. This recognition is expected to greatly enhance the football infrastructure in the region and promote the sport at a grassroots level.
Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu expressed his pride in the achievement, calling it a testament to the state’s commitment to the growth of football. He emphasized that high-quality infrastructure will play a vital role in nurturing young talent and boosting the sports culture in the state.
“This certification of Jang’s football turf is a clear reflection of our dedication to providing the best facilities for our athletes, and it will pave the way for the development of football in Arunachal,” the Chief Minister said in his social media post.
The FIFA certification is expected to draw more attention to the region’s sporting potential and inspire young football enthusiasts to pursue their passion with improved resources.
