Sensation prevailed in Guwahati last night after an armed miscreant threatened local residents in the city’s Ganeshguri area. A man and a woman were seen loitering in the area and keeping a watch over the parking area where the locals had parked their vehicles. Suspecing something, some locals came forth and questioned them as what they were doing there. An argument soon followed and the man took out a pistol from his pocket and threatened the locals. The man and the woman fled the spot on a scooter with no number plate. Meanwhile police have begun their probe into the incident.
