The Kaziranga National Park, famed for its majestic one horned rhino has finally opened its premises for the 2018-19 tourist season.
The opening ceremony saw an amalgamation of tourists and state ministers.
State Forest Minister Parimal Suklabaidya was also present along with Agriculture Minister Atul Bora, Irrigation Minister Keshav Mahanta and Assam Tourism Chairman Jayanta Malla Baruah.
The opening ceremony saw tourists not only from within the country but also from the United Kingdom and Sri Lanka.
While speaking to mediapersons, they expressed excitement to explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
