Is all well within the Congress in Meghalaya?
The party has called for a meeting tomorrow amid swirling rumours that 3 of its MLAs are considering a shift to the ruling National People’s Party (NPP).

Recent reports suggest that 3 Congress MLAs—Gabriel Wahlang, Charles Marngar, and Celestine Lyngdoh may be considering a switch to NPP in the near future.

Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president Vincent Pala and Tura Lok Sabha MP Saleng Sangma have called for the meeting to address internal dissidence.

Speaking exclusively to Northeast Live, MP Saleng Sangma hinted that the NPP may be acting behind the scenes to weaken the Congress.

He, however, admitted that the MLAs may have some genuine concerns.
