To garner support against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, a delegation of Assam’s Asom Gana Parishad party met Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at Patna today.

The AGP delegation, led by party chief Atul Bora, sought the Bihar chief minister’s support in their quest against the controversial bill and be more vocal against it.

AGP president Atul Bora disclosed that the party was in Bihar to thank the Bihar chief minister for his support to the party in their move against the bill.

AGP, in its bid to garner public opinion against the Citizenship Bill, has met several national parties of the country such as the Shiv Sena and the JD(U).
