The state government is likely to announce a revival package of Rs 1,900 crore for Paper Mills in Nagaon and Cachar.

This was stated by Minister for Commerce and Industries Chandramohan Patowary during the zero hour in Legislative Assembly yesterday.

Earlier, massive protest erupted in Silchar on Wednesday, demanding for the revival of the Hindustan Paper Mills that is situated in Hailakandi district.
