Tripura Governor Attends Closing Ceremony Of 7th National Zendokai Karate Championship In Agartala

Tripura Governor N Indrasena Reddy attended the Closing Ceremony of the 7th National Zendokai Karate Championship held at ARPS in Agartala on Sunday, July 7, 2024.
Assam Rifles organized the event in collaboration with the Tripura Zendokai Karate Association, and former Olympic Gymnast Dipa Karmakar also attended it.
A total of 161 participants from 10 states, comprising 108 boys and 53 girls across various age groups, showcased exemplary skill and sportsmanship during the two-day championship.
Clinching a total of 55 Gold medals in the Championship, Manipur emerged as the top contender.
Governor N Indrasena Reddy, who gave away the medals and trophies to the winners, commended their dedication and encouraged them to strive for excellence in their chosen sport.
The Governor also urged the audience to foster and promote the spirit of Zendokai Karate within society.
The final positions of States in order of medal tally are as under:
- Manipur
- Meghalaya
- Tripura
- Nagaland
- Assam
- Arunachal Pradesh
- Delhi
- West Bengal
- CRPF
- Uttar Pradesh
