The seven day long Ati Rudra Maha Yagya entered its second day today.
The Maha Yagya which got underway at Amingaon area of Guwahati has got about 200 priests from Kerala, Goa, Karnataka and other parts of the country taking part in it.
This is the first time that a yagya of such magnitude is being organised in the North east, the yagya has been organised for world peace.
Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma also took part in the Maha Yagya on the first day.
