Investigation into the Assam Hizbul Terror Trail has picked up pace with the National Investigation Agency (NIA) now joining the probe into the Hizbul network in the State.

A 4-member NIA team is interrogating the 7 arrested associates of dreaded Hizbul militant Qamer-uz-Zaman in Nagaon’s Doboka PWD Guest House.

Eariler, following the arrest of Hizbul militant Qamer-uz-Zaman by the Anti-terrorist Squad of the Uttar Pradesh Police and subsequent interrogation has lead to the arrests of at least 7 of his associates by Assam Police from Hojai and nearby areas.
